The present article analyzes the influence of technology on young children from the perspective of Waldorf pedagogy, focusing on various aspects of development: cognitive, social, biological, maturational, and motor. Currently, although it is known that technology - video games, television, iPads, etc. - does not benefit young children, its use is becoming increasingly frequent. From this situation arises the present research, which adopts a quantitative approach that will allow the application of questionnaires to legal guardians and teachers. The aim is to emphasize the role that technology plays in hindering proper child development, especially considering that these adults, who interact daily with the students, hold in their hands the responsibility for their integral development. Thus, this research seeks to raise awareness about the misuse of technology by implementing Waldorf pedagogy, in order to nurture free, critical, and creative human beings capable of fully developing their capacities.
