Abstract
This research sheds light on the undervalued sense of smell and the lack of distinction compared to the other senses. The research examines online resources and bibliographies to gain a deeper understanding of the cultural olfactory bias, or "Scentrism," on societies. The sense of smell is often overlooked and even considered dangerous due to its heightened awareness, strong connection to people, ability to transcend personal boundaries, and deep association with spirituality.
The research highlights the practical potential applications through games and addressing the uncomfortable situations of body odor. Underscoring that understanding our sense of smell is crucial for comprehending our own human nature and well being. The conscious awakening of this sense, will be a long-term improvement in the overall quality of life for all.
